The Hillsboro Police Department, Hill County Juvenile Probation Department & Hill College have partnered together with the Heart of Texas Human Trafficking Coalition to host a full day training geared towards law enforcement, educators, probation departments & service provider agencies in rural communities to provide education on how to combat human trafficking.

 

8:30-10:00 a.m. Human Trafficking 101

10:15-11:00 a.m. Survivor Testimony

11:15-12:00 p.m.  Labor Trafficking & Foreign Nationals

12:00-1:00 p.m.   Lunch

1:00 -2:15 p.m.  Breakout: Technology, Social Media and Trafficking Stings

                           Breakout: Educators- Prevention and Identification Tools

2:30-3:45 p.m.   Breakout: Collaborating for Successful Cases

                           Breakout: Victim response and Services

3:45-4:30 p.m.   Q&A / Evaluations
